Future & Hope

Jeremiah 29:11 NLT “For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.” How amazing is it that God has good plans for you? He created you in your mother’s womb and knows everything about you, the good and the bad. And He loves you! He has been leading you to this very moment because He wants you to know Him, His love, and all the good things ahead in your life together. He is with you everywhere and every day!

Pray

Romans 10:9 NLT “If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.” Prayer is simply talking to God. You are saved from your sin and get a new beginning when you declare that you believe in Jesus and receive His love and forgiveness. If you are ready, you can pray this:

Jesus, I know that I have sinned and am in need of a Savior. I believe that when you went to the Cross, you went there for me and all my sins. I trust You to save me right now. I give you my life. Today, I know I’m saved and that You forgive me, but help me to understand what it means to live for you every day. Amen.

 

What now?

A new journey has begun. Like anything new, it is a process of learning and growing. You now belong to the family of God.

Colossians 2:6-7 NLT “And now, just as you accepted Christ Jesus as your Lord, you must continue to follow him. Let your roots grow down into him, and let your lives be built on him. Then your faith will grow strong in the truth you were taught, and you will overflow with thankfulness.”

 

1 John 5:1 NLT “Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ has become a child of God. And everyone who loves the Father loves his children, too.”

 

When you say yes to Jesus, you now BELONG to the family of God. Plug into a church community
