Our Team

Dawn Beard

Lead Pastor

God called Dawn early in life, planting in her a deep love for worship and His presence. Years later, during a missions trip to the Philippines, He stirred her heart to step away from her nursing career and serve Him full time. Since then, Dawn has devoted her life to reaching others through Awake the Nations Ministries and as Senior Pastor of Heights Worship Center.

Nilo Jaren M. Jr. & Rose Lapasaran

Missions Pastors

Jaren was raised in a spirit-filled home where his love for God and ministry began early. By the age of 19, after years of teaching, preaching, and growing in faith, he was already pastoring his first church. Today, Jaren continues to live a life centered on God’s presence, serving alongside his wife, Pastor Rose Gomez Lapasaran, and enjoying the blessings of their daughters, grandchildren, and a good game of basketball.

At Heights Worship Center, our beliefs are firmly rooted in Jesus Christ and guided by the truth of God’s Word. We hold the Bible as the final and trustworthy authority for faith, life, and conduct, and we believe the Holy Spirit is actively at work today—leading, transforming, and empowering believers. We affirm the God-given value and sanctity of every human life, the importance of biblical community and accountability, and God’s design for marriage, sexuality, and faithful living.
